Barry is the managing partner and director of research for Ironsides Macroeconomics LLC, an independent provider of macro research and investment strategy. Barry is also the chief market strategist of Ironsides MRA Institutional, a division of Macro Risk Advisors. MRA is an institutional equity derivatives and equities focused broker dealer. Prior to forming Ironsides, Barry was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Macro & Public Policy Strategy at Guggenheim Securities.  Previous roles included Managing Director and Head of Thematic Strategies for BlackRock Fundamental Fixed Income, Managing Director and Chief US Equity Strategist at Barclays Capital and Managing Director in principal trading and equity derivatives at Lehman Brothers.

Barry is a regular on CNBC, Bloomberg Television and Fox Business.  Barry has been widely quoted in the Wall Street Journal and Barron's.

Barry has a B.A. in economics from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA in Finance from Fordham University
