Derek Mullins co‑founded PINE Advisor Solutions and, as Managing Partner, co‑leads the firm’s strategic vision and growth while overseeing finance and operations.  Derek also guides the executive team and serves as Principal Financial Officer for several listed and unlisted closed‑end funds.

Derek has worked in the fund and asset management industry since 1996. Before starting PINE, he was Director of Operations at ArrowMark Partners and Principal Financial Officer for its mutual fund family. 

Derek is a Colorado native and lives in the Denver area with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.
