Kevin Ellis is an Executive Vice President at Thrive, where he leads the firm’s Private Equity practice focused on carve-outs, integrations, and technology-driven value creation. Kevin works directly with Operating Partners, Value Creation teams, and portfolio executives across North America and Europe to execute IT and cybersecurity transitions. His experience spans complex Microsoft 365 separations, hyperscaler and virtual datacenter builds, enterprise security, modernization initiatives and successful TSA exit.

Over the past 15 years,  Kevin has supported hundreds of PE-backed portfolio companies through carve-outs, add-ons, and platform builds—helping sponsors reduce operational risk, accelerate standalone readiness, and align IT strategy with EBITDA growth objectives.

He is a frequent advisor to PE funds on quantifying technology and cybersecurity risk during diligence and translating execution into measurable value creation post-close.
